700 eager Flying Dog fans Brewery showed up to our inaugural FBAG (short for Flying Dog, Brats & Gonzo) on the afternoon of Friday, October 10, 2008. We had several self-serve beer stations pouring our Canis Major series brews, brats on the grill, as well as our newest Wild Dog release, Dog Schwarz.

Dog Schwarz is a smoked double lager, and Matt Brophy (our VP of Brewing Operations) lets you know what it's all about.

GABF - The Great American Beer Festival. Close to 2000 beers from 400 breweries. And 40,000 people drinking those beers over 4 sessions. The people are ridiculous sometimes.

You may remember this dude's racket from a recent feature-length film, but then again... his impression isn't really spot-on, but we loved his dedication to the role.

What happens when you get 2,500 excited fans of Flying Dog Brewery in the same place? Gonzofest happens. Flying Dog beer, live music, chili competitions and no rain made for lots of happy attendees. We documented the day's festivities for you in a short video. If you missed it, you're not going to want to miss next year's Gonzofest.
