Well, two weeks ago we were at it again.

Chris raced his boss, Neal "I'm Kind of a Big Deal" Stewart, around our brewery. The pace was furious, especially considering the quantities of beer that was imbibed - at one point in the evening, Rippe was drinking Double Dog Double Pale Ale out of a 32 ounce stein we gave him as a going away present. Anyhow, we filmed the debauchery and are letting you fine people check it out. Does Rippe defend his honor? You'll have to watch to find out.

Well, if you're Zane Lamprey, it's because you get paid to fly to exotic locales, meet new and interesting people from different cultures, and ultimately get drunk with those people. Zane, the host of Three Sheets (which up until Dec 2008 has been aired on the MojoHD channel), was gracious enough to grant us an interview while we were at the Great American Beer Fest. He was every bit as nice as you'd imagine from watching him on the television, but we caught him early, so he wasn't drunk yet. But Zane's reputation precedes him.

Thanks, Zane!
Artomatic is an art event in Washington. This year's Artomatic is taking place through June 15, 2008 and has 800 artists showing in 250,000 square feet of a newly-built office building. 50,000 people are anticipated throughout the 6 weeks the show is up.

Artomatic also sells beer. Which is where Flying Dog Brewery comes in as Artomatic's official beer sponsor!

The spectacle of Artomatic was unbelievable. We knew the event would be big, but we were completely unprepared for the scope of this thing.
Flying Dog Brewery was one of the supporting breweries at the first-ever Savor festival in Washington D.C. Every beer that was being poured at Savor was also paired with some food, from raspberry-filled artisan chocolates to Empanadas with Mango Salsa and everywhere between.

Savor was held in the Andrew Mellon Auditorium, a very unique location for a beer festival, a block off the Mall right near the Washington Monument. Enthusiastic beer and food connoisseurs descended upon Washington to experience the best of what American Craft Brewers have to offer.

Flying Dog founders R. McIntyre and G. Stranahan get together to drink some dogs and talk about what makes a person "Flying Dog". Hint for Eric Warner: it's not about wearing girl's clothes. And what happened in the early days when Ralph Steadman started drawing labels featuring canine genitalia? People quit, that's what. Plus: Did ya hear? Rippe eats it raw.

More footage from the 2007 GABF. Flying Dog picked up a Bronze medal in the American Style Amber Lager category at the 2007 Great American Beer Festival. Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper imparted some wisdom on the crowd, and we even met "The Beer Man". All in all, a very successful weekend. See you at next year's GABF!

The Bad Art For Bad People party came to GABF this year, and it was called The Zombie Dance Party. There was some great art for sale, burlesque, and live music. Did we mention that there was plenty of Flying Dog beer? Because there was.
