Microsoft | Ongoing Production Partnership

Our relationship with Microsoft has been ongoing since the 2010 opening of their New England Research & Development Center in Cambridge, MA. (yes, it’s the NERD Center). Since then we’ve managed 30+ shoots and output 50+ finished videos. The work includes packages of event coverage, social shorts, website and lobby loops, and coverage of internal talks. Now that we’ve got a content library of raw video it’s easy to produce quick motion title pieces for social.

Our work is currently populating Microsoft New England’s facebook page, including the header video and multiple pieces supporting the opening of The Garage, Microsoft’s new collaborative maker space. See above, plus top samples here and here. We’re also seeing quite a bit of action with our pieces on Twitter and Instagram.

Here’s another sample: To support Microsoft’s re-launch of the Foundry Internship program Cobrandit shot a series of interviews with instructors and mentors, plus b-roll of students in action (below). Microsoft edited the results into a series of 6 videos embedded on the revamped site. Themes include culture, process, teamwork, impact, ownership, and a fun question about superpowers.
