EmTech Event and Ad Series | MIT Technology Review
The MIT Technology Review’s EmTech event series brings together the greatest minds from business, research and academia to discuss future trends and to understand the technologies that will drive the new global economy. Topics include AI, blockchain, robotics, the future of work, and machine learning.
The Tech Review’s marketing team wanted more than an event recap: they wanted a package of video assets to be deployed via paid social with cuts designed to appeal to a number of distinct attendee personas. They wanted captioned and un-captioned versions, all delivered on a tight timeline (and yes, they wanted that event recap too).
Cobrandit was up to the task. Over 2 days our three man team captured b-roll and conducted 20+ interviews with keynote speakers, senior-level researchers, and business and technology decision makers. We edited the results into a mix of short form and long form pieces for organic and paid distribution on a variety of platforms, with the bulk of the action occurring on Facebook. The core set of 8 videos is being distributed with varied metadata and targeting; the 29 uploads have garnered over 100,000 views to date.
