Where do crowds of enthusiastic people show up? At events. Activations. Happenings. From conferences to trade shows to music festivals, we shoot in many cities and venues. Whether our subject is behind a podium in Cleveland or crowdsurfing at Coachella, the results are almost like being there. Almost.

Documentary reporting, behind-the-scenes, corporate storytelling, qualitative research, consumer intercepts, livestreaming...brand journalism is at the heart of our work.

In the scene, the moment…we work with low-profile crews and carefully selected gear; our edits provide a sense of immediacy, of being there. We often wrap in consumer and fan content we’ve sourced. We think on our feet, we make it happen.

We don’t write scripts. We don’t use teleprompters. We conduct thorough research and we ask the right questions, then we edit for clarity and brevity. The result is a well spoken, well put together message for investors, pitch decks, internal communications, and digital PR of all kinds. ALSO: The bandwidth is here and live streaming is happening. Got a big announcement? A crazy live event? From industry conferences to hot rods on the streets of Detroit we’ve made live video look easy.

We made a set of sliding doors talk. We fed kids a 10-pound chocolate bar. We kissed a bowling ball. And we directed a shoot with Conan O’Brien. It’s advertising! Works great in autoplay environments.

We love cars. And we’ve worked with the biggest manufacturers on the planet. From auto shows to enthusiast events, TV spots, factory tours and race coverage, we’ve covered quite a bit. We’re often partnered with prominent bloggers, Instagrammers, and stakeholders…people who tell automotive stories in their own voices.

A potent mix of imagery, motion graphics, and music…maybe with some stats layered in…and you’ve got a sizzle reel. We’ve got roots in video production for e-comm. We launched The Grommet’s daily video program, highlighting a product a day with studio footage and crowd-sourced b-roll. And we’ve produced hundreds of consumer shot how-to videos for Amazon and others.
